SPIRIT SQUARE LOBBY AREAS

The North Carolina Blumenthal Performing Arts Center and Spirit Square offer a wide variety of space for anything from an intimate seated dinner, to a large buffet style reception.

There are also spaces for wedding ceremonies, meetings, presentations, and lectures, so your entire event can take place under one elegant roof.

The three story Atrium Lobby in Spirit Square is a truly dramatic space with marble floors, large columns and ever changing displays of art work.

For large functions, the adjacent McGlohon Lobby, can also be utilized for a total of 6,535 square feet.

The 716 seat McGlohon Theatre, a historic Byzantine style theater with large stained glass windows, can be rented for wedding ceremonies, meetings, presentations, and lectures.

DUKE POWER THEATRE

The Duke Power Theatre, renovated in 1990, our Black-Box theater is actually a multi-use room, completely equipped with theatre lighting capabilities and sound system. The space also has beautiful stained glass windows and hardwood floors. Duke Power Theatre is ideal for receptions, seminars, meetings or lectures.

Maximum capacity for Duke Power Theatre is 196.

Accommodates up to 150 people for a stand up reception

Accommodates up to 78 people for a banquet reception

STUDIO THEATRE

Small performance space. Also may be used as a large rehearsal studio, or for receptions.
